From an early age, I have knit beside my grandmother, embroidered beside my mother and found my way to the sewing machine by the time I was a teenager. I first discovered the world of weaving in Highschool.

My love for fibre and passion for colour led me to enroll as a mature student at the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary, Alberta.  I graduated in 1998 with a B.F.A, major in Textiles.

I have exhibited my work in  galleries and a museum and I have taught a variety of art and textile workshops. I am thrilled to share my knowledge of textiles by teaching weaving courses and workshops on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
